Description

BPC-157 is a synthetic pentadecapeptide derived from a partial sequence found in human gastric juice. Its best-characterized research mechanism is upregulation of VEGFR2 signaling, activating the Akt-eNOS pathway to promote endothelial tube formation and blood-flow recovery in ischemic tissue models, alongside FAK-paxillin pathway activity relevant to cell migration. Most supporting data remains preclinical; no regulatory agency has approved BPC-157 for any indication. Supplied for in-vitro laboratory research only — not for human or veterinary use.
